Larnaca has four Blue Flag beaches: Castella, McKenzie, Phinikoudes and Yanathes. Phinikoudes is the main beach that fronts the promenade. It is a long beach and is often quite busy being so close to the town. McKenzie beach on the outskirts of Larnaca town is a much quieter beach and can be reached by public transport or hired car.

Limassol is home to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Akti Olympion, Kalymnos, Panagies, Pissouri, Santa Barbara, Loures, Vouppa, Aphrodite, Onisilos, Armonia, Castella are just some of the many popular beaches awarded with the blue flag. Most beaches in Limassol are within walking distance to the town centre or can be reached by public transport.

Ayia Napa and Potaras area hosts the remaining blue flag beaches of Cyprus: Ammos tou Kambouri, Ayia Thekla, Gliki Nero, Katsarga, Kermia, Konnos Bay, Landa, Louko tou Mandi, Louma, Macronissos, Nissi Beach, Nissi Bay, Nissia Loumbardi, Pantahou, Pernera P, Pernera A, Potami, Protaras, Vathia Gonia, Vrisi A, Vrisi B and Vrisi C. Nissi Beach and Macronissos are both popular with the partying crowds of Ayia Napa. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Konnos Bay is peaceful and tranquil.
